Copper Cramped Joints And Brazing

Its printed title: The Metallurgical and Mechanical Synthesis of Cramped Joints in Coppersmithing: Fabrication, Fluxing, and Brazing Dynamics

The cramped or dovetailed seam, the coppersmith's old way of joining sheet for brewing coppers and other large vessels, traced back to John Fuller's Art of Coppersmithing of 1894. It compares brass spelter, which it says can lose its zinc over time, with cadmium-free silver brazes graded under ISO 17672, gives their compositions, and warns against cadmium fume. The melting ranges and brazing temperatures were lost in the PDF text, and its Berlin and copper-grade pages repeat the other copper reports.
