Scrap Copper Cold-Rolling Methods

Its printed title: The Transformation of Repurposed Copper: Traditional Coppersmithing, Metallurgy, and Urban Sourcing in Berlin

Where to find scrap copper in Berlin and what the law allows, down to the offence of burning cable, then how to anneal, pickle and cold-roll it into sheet. It quotes scrap prices of about €9.70 a kilo for bright wire and €3.40 for cable, warns that oxygen-bearing wire turns brittle above 370 °C in a reducing fire while plumbing pipe does not, and gives a rolling schedule from 1.50 to 0.65 mm. The prices will date, the equations were lost, and the rolling needs a mill.
